His maternal line is second to none. His mother Brenda Blue Chip produced the winners of $1.6 million with four in 1:55 or better. His second Dam is a ¾ sister to Bret Hanover making his third Dam Bret Hanover's mother.

Nowhere would you have found a nicer size horse, his fast walk was on the pace. He looked the part and from one test breeding he produced Elrig who paced his first start as a two year old in 1:56 flat, p,3, 1:58.3f.
